I’ve been following Lightning Motorcycles for a while, especially their Strike Carbon Edition, which looks like a fantastic EV bike on paper. But I haven’t seen many real-world owners sharing their experiences, and there have been reports of issues fulfilling orders.

I’m considering importing one to Australia, but I recently found some concerning feedback about the company. Have any of you actually purchased or ridden a Lightning Motorcycle? How was the process, was delivery smooth, or did you run into delays?

For a company that promises high-performance EV bikes, they don’t seem to have a huge presence on the road. Would you trust them, or is it better to stick with more established brands?

Lightning Motorcycles has been making big promises for years but the lack of real-world owner feedback raises red flags. There have been reports of delays, unfulfilled orders, and spotty customer service which is worrying for a premium EV brand. If you’re considering importing one to Australia I’d triple-check their track record on deliveries before committing. Established brands like Energica or Zero seem like a safer bet.
