I'm hearing Lightning's really struggling to get their bikes built and they're still trying to get more money. Is that really happening?

The act of crowdfunding is a massive warning sign. That valuation is completely divorced from any rational financial assessment. Even if they achieve their stated goal, it's still a disastrous investment. Those investors are risking everything for nothing.
