I don't know... I test rode it last month. The range is legit, even at highway speeds. About the quality... it is better than the standard edition. At least the carbon fiber doesn't rattle like cheaper bikes, if you know what I mean.
The exposed battery is something that doesn't give me peace too. I think we should understand the purpose of it it is not riding it at high speeds. As other bikes, it is ok for a daily commute.
